Flood Risk - Egginton Road/The Mease island

Heavy rainfall over the last few days has led to flooding issues on the island at the junction of the Mease and Egginton Road. The Parish and District Council have already initiated some work to try to alleviate this problem and more work will be undertaken in the New Year. There is likely to be more flooding though as heavy rain continues to fall, and so please be cautious when driving around the island and be aware of pedestrians. Warning signs have been placed at the junction as a reminder to take care.
