It is part of South Derbyshire District Council's Local Plan Part 2 and is therefore an agreed location for building; it has received both outline and detailed planning permission.

The objection was centred around the lack of bungalows in the plan and the layout of parking spaces which we felt would lead to on-road parking and reduced access for refuse vehicles.
